You are required to check in at Tournament Headquarters
BEFORE your play your first game.
USA rules will be followed except for the following SDUSA modifications.
RUN RULE: 12 after 3, 10 after 4, 8 after 5
Time Limit - 1 hour 20 minutes, including championship play. No new inning will begin after this amount of time has elapsed. Time starts at the coin flip. Umpires will keep the official time.
10 and under will have 5 runs per inning imposed. Time limit: 70 minutes including championship play.
Pitchers will be allowed 5 warm-up pitches prior to the first inning and one pitch the following innings.
Courtesy runners will be allowed for both the pitcher and catcher per USA rules.
The shorthanded rule is in effect.
Metal cleats are NOT allowed in 12 and under age divisions. If found, they will be taken away and not returned until the end of the tournament.
Scorecards will be provided. Please exchange the card with the opposing team and then give to the umpire when this is completed.
Warm-ups on the infield are NOT allowed after the ground crews have finished working on them. When the crews are working on the field, pull the girls back so no balls are affecting the crews doing their work.
Whether standing or kneeling catchers must wear masks when warming up the pitcher.
The team must warm up in the designated area. You may also warm up behind the temporary fences.
Bats and Helmets WILL be checked prior to each game. Please have them placed outside your dugout so the umpires can check them. IF found damaged they will take it and put it in tournament headquarters. It is your responsibility to pick up the item after you are done playing in the tournament.
Coaches will be given a number to call when you check in your team for reporting your score. This is mandatory after every game played.
NO alcoholic beverages, smoking, or vaping is allowed in the complex. This event is for the youth, let's make it an enjoyable time for them.
Games will be played at Sherman Park Complex and Harmodon Park. PLEASE CHECK YOUR SCHEDULE CAREFULLY!!!!! A spectator entry fee will be charged daily. Adults $5.00 per day, and ages 10 and under are free. PLEASE SHARE THIS WITH YOUR PARENTS!!!
No music or noisemakers are allowed before, during, or after the game. This is disruptive to other teams playing.
Fielding coaches must be in the dugout.
Birth Certificates and or driver's licenses of your players are mandatory that each coach has in your possession. When checking in, please have these with you as spot-checking will be done.
In the event of inclement weather, The Tournament Committee will have complete and final discretion on how to continue with the tournament and the manner in which to conclude the tournament if needed.
Coaches are responsible for their behavior, and their players and fans on and off the field. Good sportsmanship is expected of everyone!!! This is a warning.
IMPORTANT!!!!! WINNERS AND 2ND PLACE RUNNER-UPS OF EACH DIVISION WILL ADVANCE TO THE NEXT HIGHER LEVEL OF PLAY FOR THE FOLLOWING YEAR.
PASSES FOR COACHES AND PLAYERS WILL BE GIVEN AT THE TIME OF CHECK-IN
