He is one of the greatest love stories. His smile, his hands, his heart. He is love. He is “Hola, mi amor!” He is an open door unless the A/C is on. “Get a plate,” “Have some more,” “God will provide.” He is YES. He is joyous, and adventurous - with a little helicopter dad (ok: helicopter everyone). He is “Holy Spirit, lead me”, especially in the dance. He is a song of every genre. He is “I have an idea,” “Hey, you should…,” “Would you like another hot chocolate?,” “Call me when you get there,” “Would you like a room?” He is in every state and a few countries. He is a son, brother, friend, husband, father, Godfather, uncle, follower, neighbor, and disciple-maker. He is travel, “send me.” He is “You should go.” He is pie night, foodie, “double-double animal style and just a little shake,” “Did you get a picture?” He is dancing in the rain, cuddles through the storms, and star gazing. He is “I’m taking the boys to the field for some baseball. You should join us!” He is a night owl and also sunrise hikes. He is “I’ll take care of it” and “Do I have to do everything around here?!” “No one tells me anything,” and “What’s going on?” He is Papacito Burrito, El Guapo. He is a lot of joy - A LOT. He is our favorite.
Eduardo Zuniga was born August 17, 1974, to Jesus and Bertha Zuniga in Lancaster, California, and graduated from Coalinga High School and Black Hills State University. Eddie married the love of his life, his amor Becky, on June 24, 2000, and he loved her extravagantly. To their union, God brought five gorgeous children - Eli, Emma, Zoey, Mateo, and Julian - and Eddie was the best, most involved, and loving dad. Recently he celebrated adding two more with the engagements of Emma to Connor and Eli to Abby. Being a husband and a dad was Eddie’s greatest joy in the joyful life he lived for God and His glory.
Eddie joined his Heavenly Father in paradise for eternity on June 14, 2023.
