With the registration of Junior Olympic now starting September 1, coaches and parents are confused as to why the cutoff is after the registration starts. Also, this cutoff date is closer to most school cutoff dates and allows players to play more often with those in the same grade. Lastly, it gives an extra 4 months of eligibility (September through December) for 18u players. This code would be effective for the 2024 championship year with registration starting September 1, 2023. The years are modified to show for adoption on that date. |
